POOL SERVICE HELPER $18-25 PER HOUR
Pallett Pool & Spa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pool Service Helper to join our team in Mississauga. The Pool Service Helper will assist our Pool Service Technicians in maintaining, cleaning, and repairing residential and commercial pools and spas. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn the ropes of the pool service industry in a positive and supportive work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Pool Service Assistant, you will support the Pool Service Technician in performing regular pool maintenance tasks, such as skimming debris, vacuuming pool floors, and ensuring pools are clean and ready for use. You will assist in testing pool water and adjusting chemicals under the technician’s guidance to maintain proper water quality and safety. Additionally, you will help inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters, assisting with troubleshooting and simple repairs. During seasonal changes, you will aid in pool openings and closings, including removing and storing pool covers, re-installing equipment, and preparing pools for winter. You will also assist with customer service, communicating with clients, answering basic questions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Finally, you will support the technician with documentation, including recording services performed, parts used, and any issues identified during visits, while also helping to manage and maintain inventory of equipment and chemicals.
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in pool maintenance is not required. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to learn and grow in the pool service industry. -
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor as needed. This role requires being active and on your feet for extended periods. -
Licensing:
A valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred, but not mandatory. -
